Leo Lara is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in generative AI, natural language processing, and computer vision. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Multimodal, Leo focuses on LLM pipeline for conditional generation. Prior roles include Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Science, where Leo led projects to extract insights from medical records, and Machine Learning Engineer at K2 Partnering Solutions, working on NLP experiments for legal document analysis. Leo has also contributed as a Data Scientist at Capgemini and has co-founded Argos Bem Estar Animal, engaging in detection and research on animal behavior.
