Yujie Cheng is a Technical Specialist at Mueting Raasch Group since October 2022, bringing a strong background in research and materials engineering. Previous experience includes a Research Fellow position in Pharmacology at Mayo Clinic from December 2019 to December 2020, and multiple research trainee roles at Mayo Clinic in Medical Imaging Ultrasound and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology between December 2017 and April 2018. Yujie Cheng's research tenure at Virginia Tech from November 2012 to November 2017 as a Research Assistant focused on modal reduction in single crystal sapphire fiber, involving hands-on work with glass and ceramic characterization, laser technologies, and the development of a Laser Heated Pedestal Growth system. Yujie Cheng holds a Master of Science in Patent Law from the University of Minnesota Law School (2022), a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech (2017), a Master’s in Materials Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (2012), and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University (2008).
