Jared Brandt has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jared began their career as an engineering intern at General Motors in 2001. Following that, they worked at Holley Performance Products as a product engineer in R&D from 2003 to 2008. During this time, they gained experience in designing and testing products. Jared then joined NAEVs as the Director of Engineering in 2007, where they focused on electric car conversions and battery control systems. In 2008, they transitioned to become a part-time consultant at Mueller Company LTD, where they utilized their expertise in 3D CAD design and tooling design in the water valve industry. Throughout their career, Jared has also gained experience working as a facilities monitor and camp counselor at the YMCA from 1997 to 2001.
Jared Brandt's education history includes attending multiple universities. From 1999 to 2006, they studied at Western Kentucky University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Engineering, and Math. In 2005, they also enrolled at Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University Kokomo, studying psychology. In the same year, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis to further their education in psychology.
