Sanjay Desai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sanjay co-founded and served as the CEO of Mudflap from 2018. Prior to that, they were the Chief Product Officer at Trucker Path from 2015 to 2016. Sanjay held the same position at Klout from 2013 to 2015, where they led product, design, and marketing efforts, resulting in the company's acquisition by Lithium Technologies. Sanjay also served as the CEO of SchoolTube from 2011 to 2012, exceeding company KPIs and receiving increased equity stake offers from venture investors. Before that, they worked as an Interim/Consulting Executive for various startups from 2009 to 2010. Sanjay was the VP of Product at Brightcove from 2006 to 2009, leading the product management and marketing functions for the online video platform. Sanjay also led the consumer apps business as the Group PM, Mobile at Tellme Networks from 2004 to 2006. In addition, they served as the President of the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES) from 2003 to 2004, raising funding from top venture capital firms. Sanjay gained experience as a Summer Associate in the Tech, Media & Telecom Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs in 2003. Sanjay began their career at the Walt Disney Company as the VP of Strategic Planning from 1996 to 2002, where they led product strategy and business operations for ABC Television Network & Disney's TV production businesses, becoming the youngest business-focused VP in Disney history.

Sanjay Desai obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996. Later, they pursued further education and received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2004.
