Jenna Zhang started their work experience as a Data Analyst at Indicia in July 2015. Jenna focused on analyzing transaction data from various customer cohorts on eBay and worked on moving the company's database from SAS to SQL Server. Jenna also built campaign response models and produced reports for different clients.
In March 2016, they joined Ladbrokes as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst. Jenna'sresponsibilities included building customer segmentation and product propensity models, working on an email campaign optimizer, and analyzing customers' sensitivity to winning or losing in order to predict self-excluded customers.
Jenna then joined The Very Group in December 2017 as a Data Scientist. Jenna developed, evaluated, and productionized recommender systems using Python and R on AWS. Jenna utilized various techniques such as KNN, genism word2vec, and mlxtend association rules. Jenna led projects on customer personas, brand segmentation, and digital attribution. Jenna also built and maintained models for churn prediction, future demand forecasting, and cross-category modeling.
Most recently, Jenna started working as a Data Science Consultant at Mudano in November 2021.
Jenna Zhang pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Xiamen, from 2009 to 2013. Jenna then went on to complete their Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Computing, specializing in Data Mining, Machine Learning, and High Performance Computing, from the University of Bristol, from 2013 to 2014.
