Janne Vakio is an experienced professional in the media and entertainment industry, currently serving as the Commissions & Content Development Manager at MTV Oy since August 2020, with responsibilities including leadership for Nordisk TV & Film Fond and overseeing the commissioning cycle of scripted content. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at MTV Oy, Content Manager at Telia Company, Commercial Executive and Executive Producer at Warner Bros. International Television Production Finland, and Production Manager at MRP Matila Röhr Productions Oy. Janne began a career in television as an actor in Fremantle’s Salatut Elämät and has a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, complemented by an international business semester at Saint Petersburg Polytechnical University.
