Jacky Chan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive expertise in rolling stock design, construction, and maintenance. Currently serving as Senior Design Engineer at MTR Corporation Limited since August 2014, Jacky has successfully managed system assurance development and collaborated on complex design interfaces. Previous roles include Senior Construction Engineer, where Jacky oversaw the construction of new trainsets for the Shatin-Central Link Project and achieved over 99.9% reliability in East Rail services. Jacky's early career included positions as a Rolling Stock Maintenance Engineer and Support Engineer, contributing to significant projects and receiving accolades for contributions to new operational lines. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and further studies at prestigious institutions, Jacky has consistently demonstrated a commitment to engineering excellence and innovation in the railway industry.
