Timo Salminen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Timo began their career as a Summer Trainee at Gasum Oy in 2002 and continued working there until 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at TKK for a year. Timo then joined Maatalouden Laskentakeskus in 2011 as a Test Engineer and stayed there for two years before moving to Maatalouden Laskentakeskus / Mtech Digital Solutions in 2013 as a Senior Test Engineer. In 2017, they transitioned to Mtech Digital Solutions and took on the role of Development Manager. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Tester at the same company.

Timo Salminen completed their Master of Science (Tech.) degree in User-centred product development, signal processing, and industrial management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Timo pursued their education at the institution from 2002 to 2010.
