Karen Smith is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience across various government and organizational contexts. Currently serving as Media And Communications Manager at MTC since October 2022, responsibilities include managing media communications and issues for Parklea Correctional Centre. Previously, Karen held similar roles at Ventia Pty Ltd, where proactive media management was crucial during significant incidents, and at Corrective Services NSW and Comacon Pty. Ltd.
