Jeff Downing is an experienced leader in the botanical and educational sectors, currently serving as the Executive Director of Mt. Cuba Center since December 2012, where the mission focuses on promoting an appreciation for native plants and protecting their habitats. Previously, Jeff held multiple positions at The New York Botanical Garden from December 1999 to November 2012, including Vice President for Education, where oversight included various educational departments and programs. Jeff's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford, along with an education from Deerfield Academy.
