Beat Obrist

Director Digital, Data Analytics & Operations at MSD Switzerland

Beat Obrist has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2005 as an Analyst Consultant at IMS Consulting. Beat then progressed to roles as a Consultant and Senior Consultant. In 2011, they joined Roos + Partner as a Project Manager until 2015. Following this, they worked at MSD as the Market Research & Analytics Lead for the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria. In 2016, they became the Brand Manager for Virology at MSD until 2020. Currently, Beat Obrist holds the position of Associate Director, Lead Data & Commercial Operations at MSD Switzerland, where they oversee a team of specialists in marketing and sales services, CRM, sales data analytics, and market research. Beat also serves as the company's Director of Digital, Data Analytics & Operations.

Beat Obrist completed a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree in Environmental Technology and Management from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in 2011-2012. In 2009-2010, they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Intercultural Project- and Teammanagement from the Institute for Communication Research. Additionally, they pursued data analysis, statistics, and process designs at Zurich University of Applied Sciences Winterthur from 2001 to 2004.
