Tia Counts currently serves as the Chief Responsibility and Chief Diversity Officer at MSCI Inc., a position held since May 2021. Alongside this role, Tia Counts is a Board Trustee at Camden Art Centre since February 2020. Previously, Tia Counts worked at J.P. Morgan from January 2012 to May 2021, where responsibilities included Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Asset & Wealth Management and EMEA Head of Advancing Black Pathways, a strategy focused on enhancing opportunities for Black talent. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director and Senior Lawyer at Morgan Stanley from December 2002 to December 2011, specializing in structured products and derivatives, and as an Associate at Clifford Chance LLP from January 1997 to December 2002. Tia Counts holds a JD from Columbia Law School, a BA in Sociology and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
