Luis Lozano, PhD, currently serves as the Financial Engineering Team Lead at MSCI Inc. since October 2022. In addition, Luis has been a College Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey since January 2016, teaching courses in Physics, Mathematics, and Data Science while also tutoring undergraduate and MSc students in Artificial Intelligence. Previously, Luis worked at Citi as a Global Analytics Associate from July 2021 to October 2022, where a model for detecting disputes was developed using word embedding and neural networks, resulting in improved classification outcomes. Luis Lozano holds a PhD in Physics from Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
