Elchin Mammadov currently serves as Co-Head of EMEA ESG Research and Executive Director at MSCI Inc., where responsibilities include co-managing the EMEA ESG Research team and leading global ESG research for the utilities industry. Previous roles include Vice President at the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, and member of expert working groups under the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, focusing on sustainability frameworks for financial institutions. Prior experience at Bloomberg LP as a Senior Equity Research Analyst involved comprehensive industry analysis on utilities, while earlier positions at Control Risks, British Petroleum, and SOCAR provided foundational experience in research, financial analysis, and commercial recommendations. Elchin earned an MSc in Management from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Baku State University.
