Qin Chen has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to information technology and network security. From 2002 to 2005, Chen worked as a Network Engineer at Compulinx. Then, from 2005 to 2009, Chen served as a Senior Network Architect at Uni-Data & Communications, Inc. In 2009, Chen joined MSA Security, initially as a Network Administrator, and later progressed to the roles of Network Security Architect, Network Security Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology. Chen also had brief roles as a LANDesk Specialist Consultant at CDI and a LANDesk Specialist at Covance. Additionally, Chen worked as an IT Intern at the Commission of Human Rights, NYC from 2000 to 2002, and as a Consultant at Liberty Science Center from 2007 to 2009.

From 1998 to 2002, Qin Chen attended Pace University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Qin Chen has earned the following certifications: GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from Global Information Assurance Certification in June 2017, GIAC GSEC from GIAC Certifications in April 2017, and is also a member of the GIAC Advisory Board.
