Charity Hume is an accomplished freelance writer and contributing author with extensive experience in various writing roles. Currently serving as a Freelance Writer at Writing Harvest since January 2013, Charity has also contributed to Ms. Magazine and Cultural Daily since 2021 and 2012, respectively. Previously, Charity held the position of Dean at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, California, from 2008 to 2018 and directed the NYU Creative Writing Program from 1992 to 1996. Educational credentials include a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Yale University, a Master’s Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from New York University, a Certificate in Memoir from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and pursuing a Psychoanalytic Fellowship at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
