Damien Smith, PMP, PgMP, is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in aerospace and engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager at MRI since September 2020, Damien leads NASA's Crew Health And Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA) and oversees projects supporting the Environmental Control and Life Support Systems program. Previous roles include managing multi-million dollar subsea projects at TechnipFMC, leading significant power distribution projects at Powell Industries, and working as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Early career experience includes engineering for NASA and a production management role at Gulf Pacific Rice Company. Damien holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.
