Crissy Hood is an experienced nurse practitioner currently employed at MRG Exams since August 2022. Prior to this role, Crissy worked in the Huntsville Hospital Emergency Department from March 2019 to September 2022 as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and previously served as a Registered Nurse in the same emergency department between July 2018 and September 2022. Crissy's career in nursing began at Crestwood Medical Center, where a tenure from June 2005 to July 2018 included positions as a Registered Nurse Emergency Department, floor coordinator, and relief charge nurse, thus accumulating over nine years of experience before pursuing further critical care expertise at a level one trauma center. Crissy holds two Master's degrees from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, one in Nursing and the other in Registered Nursing, with a focus on Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing.
