Wale Akintola has extensive work experience in the field of software development and solutions architecture. Wale is currently employed as a Solutions Architect at MPOWER Financing, starting in February 2022.

Prior to this, Wale served as the Lead Solutions Architect at AtCash Inc from September 2018 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for system design, platform architecture, and responding to RFPs. Wale also reported to the CEO on product development efforts and sourced technical resources and vendors for AtCash.

Before joining AtCash, Wale worked at Nigeria Interbank Settlement System from January 2017 to August 2018. Wale'srole involved building various financial products, including the mCash bill payment platform and the Treasury Single Account (TSA) application for the Federal government. Wale also contributed to the development of other products such as NUMAP, eBTS, CMMS, NIP, eBillsPay, eReference, DRS, Settlement platform, Squaremii, and NibssPay.

Prior to their tenure at Nigeria Interbank Settlement System, Wale was a System Developer at Dirlink Technologies from July 2009 to January 2010. There, they worked on the development of PortalDirect, an education management portal, and other projects.

Wale's earlier experience includes working as a System/Software Developer at eTranzact International PLC from February 2007 to August 2007.

Overall, Wale Akintola has a diverse background in software development and solutions architecture, with a focus on financial systems and platform design.

Wale Akintola pursued their undergraduate education at Covenant University from 2003 to 2008, where they acquired a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Wale has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Wale achieved certification as a Corda Certified Developer from R3 in January 2019. Subsequently, in September 2021, they became a BTA Certified Blockchain Developer - Ethereum through training provided by the Blockchain Training Alliance. Most recently, in June 2022, they attained certification as The Open Group Certified TOGAF® 9 Certified.
