Sharae Sledge is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance at the Minneapolis Downtown Council since January 2022. Prior roles include Finance Manager for the City of St. Louis Park, Assistant Controller at Girl Scouts River Valleys, and Accountant for both the City of Edina and Dakota County Community Development Agency. Sharae began a career in finance as a Fiscal Services Assistant for the State of Minnesota and held the position of Accounting Specialist at the Dakota County Community Development Agency for several years. Sharae holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Metro State University and an Associate in Applied Science in Accounting from Minneapolis Business College.
