Melanie Cooper is a seasoned professional in grant management and financial oversight, currently serving as the Director of Grants for San Patricio County since June 2022 and as a Grant Manager for Mpact Strategic Consulting LLC since November 2020. Melanie's extensive experience includes self-employment managing grant financials for a construction company from 2014 to 2020, where skills in business development and project management were honed. Previous roles include Grant Administrator for the City of Corpus Christi, where Melanie acquired funding for various projects and ensured compliance with financial regulations, and Assistant Emergency Manager for Nueces County, where training and emergency management programs were established. With a background in grants and purchasing from roles in both the City of Corpus Christi and Nueces County, as well as administrative experience in sales and project management, Melanie holds an educational foundation from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and Del Mar College.
