Rafael Leon is a seasoned professional in controls engineering and process automation with a robust background in managing high-performing teams and overseeing significant automation projects. Currently serving as the Manager of Controls Engineering at MP Materials since July 2022, Rafael is focused on defining and executing controls and automation strategies for the Fort Worth Magnetics facility. Prior experience includes managing the Process Automation department at Freeport-McMoRan, where responsibilities spanned from engineering to project oversight for large DCS/PLC projects.
