Peter Landi is an experienced engineering and operations manager in the rare earth mining sector, currently serving as the Manager of Process Technology & Engineering at MP Materials since July 2017. In this role, Peter is instrumental in restarting the Mountain Pass rare earth mine, the only active facility of its kind in the United States, with a focus on engineering process design and operational support. Prior to this, Peter worked at Molycorp Minerals, LLC, where roles included Manager of Engineering & Operations, overseeing the transition of the mine site post-bankruptcy, and Lead Process Engineer. Peter began the professional career as a Staff Engineer at Robertson-Bryan, Inc., specializing in power resource management. Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2009.
