Aminul Mehedi is an experienced engineering manager specializing in process engineering at MP Materials since 2023, where a pioneering Mine to Magnet Factory is under development in the United States. Previously, Aminul Mehedi founded CM Materials from 2021 to 2023, leading innovations in additive manufacturing and critical metal recycling. Aminul Mehedi worked as a senior engineer at Carpenter Technology Corporation from 2018 to 2021, focusing on specialty alloy technology across multiple industries. Prior to this, Aminul Mehedi contributed as a materials and manufacturing engineer at Tesla in 2017 and as a materials scientist at Niron Magnetics, Inc. from 2013 to 2017, where groundbreaking magnet technology was developed. Aminul Mehedi began a career in metallurgy at Abul Khair Steel Re-rolling Mill in Bangladesh in 2011. Educational credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
