Michael Greenwell has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. From 2005 to 2011, they worked as a Support Analyst and then Managed Services Analyst at IP Applications. In 2006, they began working at Monexa Services as a Client Implementation Specialist, where they developed primarily in PHP on a LAMP stack, as well as C++, C#, and SQL in both Oracle and MySQL environments. In 2011, they joined MaxHire Solutions as a Customer Solutions Engineer, developing Java web applications hosted by CloudBees and built with the Spring MVC framework to customize and extend Bullhorn's SaaS CRM. In 2012, they were promoted to Professional Services Software Engineer at Bullhorn after their acquisition of MaxHire. In 2014, they moved back to Monexa Services as a Senior Solutions Architect, collaborating with clients and prospects to design solutions that integrated Monexa's XaaS billing platform with existing and planned technology infrastructure. In 2015, they began working at Moz as a Software Development Manager, leading teams focused on developing their distributed data collection system and promoting agile development practices.
Michael Greenwell studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2005, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology. Michael then attended Simon Fraser University from 2006 to 2010, where they received their B.Sc. in Computer Science.
