Linh Brett has worked in various software engineering roles since 1997. In 1995, they began their career as an Applications Engineer at Robbins-Gioia Inc., where they were responsible for implementing bar code tracking capabilities for the Marine Corps Logistics Base and customizing the Problem Reporting System for the Internal Revenue Service. In 1997, they joined Booz Allen & Hamilton as a Senior Consultant and was the requirements analyst and technical lead for the America's Charities PledgeFirst system, as well as the technical lead in developing a pledge system for the Christian Service Organizations of America. In 2002, they became a Web Analyst at ATCC and in 2003, they joined Advanced Solutions International as a Developer, where they performed integration with Web Services Group (WSG) Toolkits and iMIS products, as well as customized numerous WSG toolkit applications for non-profit trade associations. In 2009, they became a Cold Fusion Developer at Communications Resource, Inc., where they developed the archived submissions modules for Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and implemented automated Board Terminations for submissions for the HUD application. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Time Warner Cable, where they maintained the legacy Road Runner residential portal site written in Cold Fusion and customized closures/weather alerts for Raven that feeds data to TV stations & web applications. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Movista, where they created messaging systems for Natural Insight written in Angular and Cold Fusion, and implemented messaging systems for Movista written in React and React Native.
Linh Brett obtained a B.S. in Management Science from Virginia Tech between 1991 and 1995. Subsequently, they obtained an M.S. in Engineering Management from The George Washington University between 1997 and 1999. In 2005, they obtained an Advanced ColdFusion MX Developer Certification.
