People Operations Director at MOVE Texas

Kytheranialynn Montez, MSODL has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to the present. Starting in 2015, they conducted research at Texas A&M University-San Antonio focusing on childhood obesity in connection to marmoset monkeys. In 2016, they worked as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness Headquarters. From 2016 to 2017, they held a position at Follett as part of the Palo Alto College Bookstore. In 2017, Montez worked as a Stand Lead at Levy Restaurants. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at the United Way of the Brazos Valley, first as an Executive Assistant and later as an Operations Coordinator. In 2019, Montez worked as a Certified Application Counselor at CENTROMED. In 2020, they held the role of Premium Concessions Supervisor at Levy Restaurants and also worked as a Certified Application Counselor at CENTROMED. Most recently, starting in 2020, Montez has been working at MOVE Texas, first as a People Operations Associate, then as a People Operations Manager, and currently as the People Operations Director.

Kytheranialynn Montez, MSODL, has a diverse education history. From 2019 to 2021, they attended the University of the Incarnate Word, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development & Leadership. Prior to that, they studied at Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. Starting in 2014 and ending in 2017, Kytheranialynn Montez attended Palo Alto College, where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture, General, as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities.

In addition to their formal education, Kytheranialynn Montez has obtained a range of certifications. In 2019, they completed various courses offered by FEMA, including Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100; ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incident, ICS-200; An Introduction to the National Incident Management System; and National Response Framework, An Introduction. In 2016, they received training in the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by FranklinCovey. Their other certifications include Certified Application Counselor from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Human Research-Social and Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program, Heartsaver CPR AED Classroom from the American Heart Association, Seller Training from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and Texas Food Handler Education from Learn2Serve. All certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2019.
