Matthew Samuels has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Matthew worked at SleepMed Incorporated where they began as a Customer Service Representative and eventually became the Team Lead of the Customer Service Department. Matthew then transitioned to the Data Analysis team of Sleep Techs. In 2017, they worked at Air Conditioning Experts, Inc. as a Jr. Accountant. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Freedom House Church as an Office Manager. Matthew then joined Sustainable Investment Group (SIG) in 2019 as the Head of Ethics until 2021. Currently, they are working at MountainSeed as an Employee Engagement Manager.

Matthew Samuels has a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Bethlehem College and Seminary. In 2012, they attended Georgia State University, where they studied Vocal Performance for a year. Prior to that, in 2011, Matthew attended Florida State University, focusing on Music Theory and Composition for a year as well. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2023, an Adult Mental Health First Aid USA certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in June 2023, and a Certified Practitioner | MBTI Certification Program from The Myers & Briggs Foundation in December 2021.
