Michelle Carroll, MPA, serves as the Executive Director at the Mountainland Association of Governments since May 2008, previously holding the position of Deputy Executive Director. Carroll is recognized for a visionary approach to leadership, effectively implementing strategic plans for various departments and programs. With a strong emphasis on fiscal responsibility, Carroll excels in leading diverse teams. Prior roles include Director of Community and Economic Development, where responsibilities included managing the Economic Development Administration district planning program and the Community Development Block Grant program for Utah County. Additionally, Carroll has experience as Development Director at The Sharing Place and Director of Program Services at March of Dimes. Carroll began a career as a Health Specialist at Wellstar Health System and holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Utah State University.
