Peter Arlein has held a variety of roles throughout their career. Peter began their professional journey in 2008 as a Ski Patroller for Aspen Skiing Company and a Raft Guide for Blazing Adventures. In 2011, they became the Head Educator for Call of the Sea, where they developed and implemented a shipboard education curriculum on an 82-foot sailboat. In 2012, they worked as a Commercial Fisherman for F/V Atlas. From 2013 to 2014, they held two roles at Schiedermayer | Schiedermayer Alaska, Inc., first as a Marketing/Media Relations Intern and then as an Account Coordinator. During this same time period, they also worked as a Data Analyst for Alaska Communications. In 2014, they became the Sales and Marketing Director for Kodiak Jig Seafoods, where they developed marketing strategies, performed consumer research, designed competitive pricing structures, and coordinated inventory and deliveries. Finally, in 2015, they were the Client Strategy for FASTG8, Inc., and in 2016 they founded and became the CEO of mountainFLOW eco-wax.
Peter Arlein has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alaska Anchorage, which they earned in 2015. Peter's field of study was Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. Peter also holds a B.A. in Biology and Neuroscience from Colby College, which they earned in 2007. Additionally, they obtained a SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling certification from SAS in July 2014.
