Becky Baker has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a History Teacher and Social Studies department chair at Mountain Empire Unified School District since August 2022, where courses taught include Geography 9, AP World History, and AP Government/Politics. Prior to this role, Becky taught social studies for grades 6-12 at JCS - Pine Valley Academy, and served as an Enrollment and Student Services Supervisor at Tulsa Public Schools, overseeing 32 registrars across 80 schools. Becky’s foundational experience includes coordination of district assessments as the District Assessment Coordinator and teaching various subjects as a teacher within Tulsa Public Schools. Additional roles include Faculty Advisor for Teach For America, Special Education Teacher in different districts, and management of a computer skills program for adults with developmental disabilities. Becky's educational background includes a Master’s in Education with a focus on Special Education from National University and multiple Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California.
