Manager, Centre For Academic Advising And Student Success at MOUNT SAINT VINCENT UNIVERSITY

Erin Tomlinson is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Manager of the Centre for Academic Advising and Student Success at Mount Saint Vincent University since August 2011, Erin has successfully implemented various academic support programs and led a team to enhance student success. Recognized with the President’s Award for Internal Service in December 2021, Erin also evaluates academic support services and collaborates with faculty and administration. Previous roles include Academic Advisor at Mount Saint Vincent University, Casual Faculty at Nova Scotia Community College, and Coordinator for the B.Ed. National-International Job Search. Erin’s teaching background includes instructing secondary students at the Halifax Regional School Board and managing program coordination at Management Development for Women. Erin holds a BPR and B.Ed. from Mount Saint Vincent University, as well as a MAEd in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education.
