Todd O'Brien is an experienced events and venues coordinator with a diverse background in managing music and arts festivals, venues, and creative enterprises. Currently serving as the Events and Venues Coordinator at Mount Alexander Shire Council since March 2023, Todd has also held the role of Managing Director at Hopkins Creek Festival Pty Ltd since July 2016, overseeing a unique three-day celebration of music and art. Prior experiences include co-owning Outer Place Space and owning Washroom Studio, both focusing on creative collaboration and screen printing. Todd's previous positions span various roles in events management, marketing consultancy, and general management for multiple organizations in the music and arts sector, complemented by a solid educational foundation in entertainment management and film from the Australian Institute of Music and Deakin University.
