Michael Matyas is an experienced professional in the field of biometrics and identity management, currently serving as a Biometric Subject Matter Expert at Mount Airey Group Inc. since October 2007. Matyas has provided direct support to various U.S. government agencies, including the DHS Office of Biometrics and Identity Management, the State Department, USCIS, and TSA, focusing on the optimization and operation of large-scale biometric systems. Previous roles include Vice President and consultant, Biometric Architect at SBA, IT Program Senior Manager at Lockheed Martin, and CTO at Management Systems Designers, Inc. Michael began a career in technology integration and project management at various firms while also contributing to the development of automated fingerprint systems at the FBI. Matyas holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from The George Washington University.
