Forbes Howington is an accomplished engineer and researcher with extensive experience in software engineering and interdisciplinary projects. Currently a Principal Engineer and Team Lead at Motional since July 2020, Forbes previously held roles at NetApp and the University of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities included developing hardware simulations and training machine learning algorithms. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, multiple master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Pittsburgh respectively, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
