Andrew Dykman has a diverse work experience in various industries. Andrew started their career at Hillcrest Labs as a Software Intern, where they developed a software test-bench for sensor integration and action detection.

Andrew then worked at Splunk as a Sales Engineering Intern, leading a team in creating customer-ready demos. At Bloomberg LP, they were a Deep Learning Intern, training a tool to extract data from images and creating a web application for data processing.

Andrew also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the JHU Center for Leadership Education, where they helped engineering students improve their writing skills. Andrew collaborated with Johns Hopkins University's Center for Language and Speech Processing and Mind-Brain Institute as a Collaborator/Researcher, working on neuromorphic computing and visual plasticity models.

At May Mobility, Andrew held multiple roles, including Field Autonomy Engineer, Senior Field Autonomy Engineer, Technical Program Manager, and Field Engineering Manager. Andrew led autonomous vehicle operations, managed remote teams during COVID-19, and played a key role in fundraising efforts.

Currently, Andrew works at Motional as a Principal Engineer and Team Lead, focusing on autonomy integration. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Engineer Team Lead and Tech Strategy Manager at the same company.

Andrew Dykman holds a Master's Degree in Computational Cognition and Perception from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Entrepreneurship and Management, with a field of study in Computer Engineering, also from The Johns Hopkins University, from 2012 to 2016. Andrew briefly attended the University of Sydney in 2014. Andrew completed their high school education at Broadneck High School. In addition, Andrew obtained certifications including Splunk Certified Admin from Splunk in 2016 and Splunk Certified Sales Engineer I (6.3).
