Mike MacKenzie, P. Eng., is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in extraction operations and civil engineering. Currently serving as Director of Extraction Operations at Motif Labs since March 2021, Mike has previously held senior management roles within the same company. Prior to this, Mike worked as a Project Engineer at GM BluePlan Engineering Limited, contributing to municipal asset management and environmental assessments. A planned sabbatical from June 2016 to February 2018 allowed for extensive travel across multiple continents. Earlier career experience includes roles at Vision Integrity Engineering Ltd., OHE Consultants, and the Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resources, where Mike focused on safety culture, pipeline risk assessments, and chemical research. Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Green Process Engineering from Western University.
