Dilek (Kocer) Uzunalioglu, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience timeline starting as a Research Assistant at Orta DoÄŸu Teknik Ãœniversitesi from 1996 to 2000. Dilek later worked as an Intern at Pepsico R&D Department in 2003 and as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University's Department of Food Science from 2001 to 2005. Dilek then served as an Asst. Prof. at Istanbul Technical University, Food Engineering Department from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, their career shifted to Ingredion Incorporated, where they held various roles from Associate Engineer to Senior Manager/Senior Business Scientist until 2019. Concurrently, they worked part-time as a Lecturer at Rutgers University in 2008. In 2019, Dilek joined WINGSforGrowth as a Champion until 2022, while also taking on roles at Motif FoodWorks as Head of Food Applications from 2019 to 2022 and as Senior Director of Food Discovery & Design since 2022.
Dilek (Kocer) Uzunalioglu, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from Rutgers University. Prior to their doctorate, they completed their M.S. and B.S. in Food Engineering at Orta DoÄŸu Teknik Ãœniversitesi (Middle East Technical University). Dilek has also received various certifications, including the 2021-2022 Outstanding Service Award from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and a Green Belt Certification from Ingredion Incorporated.
