Alyssa Berg has a diverse range of work experience. Alyssa started in 2013 as a Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives where they conducted research, wrote reports, and assisted constituents. Alyssa then went on to work as a Communications Intern at the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development where they wrote press releases and monitored press activity. Alyssa also served as a Precinct Chair for the Rice County Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and as President of the St. Olaf Political Awareness Committee. Alyssa held multiple roles at Mothership Strategies, starting as a Digital Associate before moving up to Digital Strategist and finally becoming the Lead Account Strategist. Alyssa has also worked in government affairs as a Government Affairs Associate at the National Humanities Alliance and as a Scheduler & Legislative Aide at the U.S. House of Representatives. Additionally, they have experience in education as an Assistant Speech Team Coach at Northfield High School. Overall, Alyssa has demonstrated a strong background in politics, communications, and strategy throughout their career.
Alyssa Berg obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from St. Olaf College from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they also engaged in a study abroad program at the University of Aberdeen, where they focused on Political Science and Government. Recently, in 2021, they pursued a MasterTrack® Certificate in UX Design from the University of Minnesota, specializing in User Experience Design. Additionally, Alyssa has obtained several certifications, including "Giving and Receiving Feedback" from LinkedIn in September 2021, and certifications in ethics, research, user research, user testing, and visual literacy from the University of Minnesota in 2021.
