Sam Van Pykeren is a skilled digital producer with significant experience in the media industry. Currently employed at Mother Jones since August 2018, Sam has previously served as a producer and production assistant at Flow Motion Media Inc. from May 2017 to August 2018, where responsibilities included supporting various productions such as music videos and mini documentaries. As a freelance videographer from January 2015 to August 2018, Sam took on the role of director for multiple projects. Additional positions include a communications intern at Howard Brown Health from November 2016 to August 2017 and president of North Park University’s Queers and Allies from August 2015 to May 2017, focusing on building community for queer students. Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from North Park University, completed in 2017.
