Jamila Black, M.S., is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Communications Officer and previously as Communications Associate at Mother Cabrini Health Foundation since June 2021. Additionally, Jamila has contributed as a member of ColorComm, Inc. since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Montefiore Health System as a Financial Services Representative and as an Administrative Assistant at Hook & Fasten. Jamila has also engaged in academic pursuits at NYU School of Professional Studies as a Graduate Student and helped coordinate community events for The Creative Collective NYC. Earlier experience includes staffing for Mayor Bill de Blasio's office, where sustainable crisis management projects were spearheaded, and a Public Relations Internship at Albany County Executive Office, where social media marketing and media coverage strategies were successfully implemented. Jamila holds a Master of Science in Corporate Communications & Public Relations from NYU School of Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Public Relations from the University at Albany.
