Tolga Secilmis has extensive experience in various roles and industries. Tolga is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at MotaWord, where they collaborate with senior management to devise effective short and long-term plans. Previously, they co-founded Matnon, a cloud-based sentiment analysis platform, and GlocalTones, a translation and dubbing service provider. Tolga also worked as a lecturer at Yeditepe University and Boğaziçi University. Tolga has held managerial positions at VideoStudio34, Smartcat, SDL plc, Nuna Localization, and Bircom Telekomunikasyon ve Bilişim Hizmetleri, where they were responsible for project management, partner operations, and general management.

Tolga Secilmis completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi between 1991 and 1998. Prior to that, they attended Sirri Yircali Anadalu Lisesi from 1984 to 1991, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study at that institution.
