Damian Oton has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Damian started their career at Ford Motor Company in 1995, where they held various graduate roles before becoming a Fleet Sales Account Manager. In 2002, they transitioned into a Sales Planning Manager role at Ford Motor Company. In 2004, Oton joined Ford of Europe GmbH as the European Brand Manager for Small Cars. After three years, they moved to Ford Motor Company in 2007, where they served as a Product Manager for Medium Cars. In 2008, Oton joined Motability Operations Ltd as a Contracts Manager, and over the years, they held various positions, including Operations Manager, Manufacturer Relations Manager, Head of Specialist Products, Head of Manufacturer Relations and Specialist Products, Head of Vehicle Remarketing, and Head of Commercial Operations. Their most recent roles at Motability Operations include Managing Director of Fleet and Chief Commercial Officer.

Damian Oton attended The University of Manchester from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. Damian achieved a 2.1 classification in their degree.
