Andrew McBride has a diverse work experience beginning in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant at Niagara Sports Practice Centre. In 2015, they became a Community Advisor at McMaster University and a Mechanical Design Engineer for McMaster Engineering EcoCAR 3. Andrew was also a Venture Engineering and Science Camp Instructor Coop at McMaster University in 2015. In 2016, they were an Engineering Representative on the McMaster Student Representative Assembly and an Associate Project Coordinator Coop at Scotiabank. In 2017, they became the Owner of Andrew McBride Photography. In 2018, they were a Corporate Engineering Intern at Septodont. In 2019, they were an Engineer - EIT and an Associate Engineer - EIT at Henniges Automotive and a Finite Element Analysis Engineer as a Freelance. In 2022, they became a Mechanical Design Engineer - EIT at Mosaic Manufacturing.

Andrew McBride obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Coop from McMaster University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to this, they attended Westlane Secondary School between 2010 and 2014 and obtained their High School diploma. In October 2020, they also obtained an EIT certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
