Vicki Laws has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vicki began their career as an Accountant at Ethan Allen Carriage House from 1984 to 1992. Vicki then joined Solthree Software Corporation (formerly Skylight Software Inc) in 1993 as a Senior VP Operations, where they worked until 2002. Since 2002, Vicki has been with Mosaic, a national consulting firm specializing in the utility and oil & gas industries. During their time at Mosaic, they served as an Accounting Manager from 2002 to 2021 and currently holds the role of Director, Accounting & Payroll as of January 2021.

Vicki Laws has an extensive education history. Vicki began their academic journey at Bellevue College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree from 1983 to 1986. During their time at Bellevue College, Vicki focused their studies on English, Math, and Science.

After completing their degree at Bellevue College, Vicki transferred to Seattle University to further their education. From 1986 to 1989, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Seattle University. Vicki'sdegree had a double major, with the first major being Education with an emphasis in English. In addition, Vicki also focused on Math, completing it as their second major. Vicki also obtained a minor in Science.

Vicki's dedication to learning continued beyond their formal education. In 2020, they obtained certifications in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn. These certifications highlight their commitment to addressing bias and promoting inclusivity.

Since 1994, Vicki has also been a certified Notary Public, obtaining their certification from the Washington State institution.
