Utku Ergün has a diverse work experience in various research roles. Utku is currently working as a Junior Scientist at Mosa Meat since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2019 to May 2021. Utku also held the position of Scholarship Holder at Fulbright Association during the same period. Utku has professional experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Koç University from September 2014 to June 2019. Utku also completed a research internship at The University of Göttingen from June 2018 to September 2018.

Utku Ergün started their education at Koç University in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology until 2019. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Koç University. Following their undergraduate studies, Utku Ergün enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019 to pursue a Master's degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology. Utku completed their studies at Georgia Tech in 2021.
