Parker Tichko, PhD, is currently working as a Human Factors Engineer at MORSE Corp since September 2022. Prior to this, from August 2019 to August 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Northeastern University, where they collaborated with a biotechnology start-up to assess the effects of a novel digital therapeutic for Alzheimer's disease and conducted experiments on brain function and behavior. From August 2014 to August 2019, Parker served as a PhD candidate at the University of Connecticut, overseeing various experiments on auditory neuroscience, infant and child development, reading development, and music cognition. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Author at Acoustica from June 2012 to June 2017, authoring a book on teaching music in classrooms. Parker also held roles as a Lead Copywriter at inMusic Brands from January 2014 to May 2014 and as an Engineering Administrative Assistant at Pololu Corporation from June 2013 to January 2014. Parker served as a Laboratory Manager at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from April 2011 to June 2013.
Parker Tichko, PhD, has a diverse educational background in psychology and music. They first attended Wheaton College Massachusetts, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music and Psychology. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Connecticut, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Psychological Sciences from 2014 to 2017. Continuing their academic journey at the same institution, Parker completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from 2017 to 2019.
