Sadegh Kazemi, PhD, PEng, currently serves as a Senior Project Manager for Bridges West at Morrison Hershfield, a position held since 2021. With extensive experience in the field, Sadegh has been involved in the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) as the Vice Chair of the International Affairs Committee and an Executive Board Member for the Edmonton Section since May 2008. Previous roles include Supervisor of Inspection and Technical Services - Bridges at the City of Edmonton (2019-2021), Senior Bridge Engineer at BPTEC Engineering (2016-2019), Project Manager at WSP in Canada (2014-2016), and Bridge Engineer at CH2M (2013-2014). Sadegh also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from 2008 to 2013, focusing on structural composite connections and contributing to the ACI Materials Journal. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Alberta (2008-2013) and an MSc in Structural Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic (2004-2006).
