Kevin Sampson is an Astrodynamics Intern at Morpheus Space since May 2023 and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Southern California. The research focuses on optimizing emitter tip arrays using nanofabrication technologies for ionic liquid electrospray thrusters and developing a novel extractor-less electrospray thruster. Kevin's background includes a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with extensive experience in electric propulsion, rapid prototyping, and the development of various engineering systems in both academic and industrial settings. Prior internships include roles at The Aerospace Corporation and Weber Metals, Inc., and Kevin has contributed to significant research and projects related to CubeSat thruster technologies and electrospray propulsion systems.
