Gaurav Tiwari currently serves as Associate Director at Morningstar, where involvement in the Index Management and Analytics team focuses on improving operational efficiency through the development of production and QA frameworks using Python and SQL. Previously, Gaurav held the position of Assistant Director at EY, contributing to the Economic Advisory team by linking ESG and financial KPIs with total shareholder return via statistical models. Prior roles include Equity Pricer at Société Générale, where regression and PCA models were developed to analyze implied volatility, and Manager of the Quantitative Research Group at The Smart Cube, providing quantitative research support to various financial clients. Gaurav has also worked in valuation control at Scope International, served as a Quantitative Analyst at Evalueserve, and started a career as an Analyst at BlackRock. Educational qualifications include a CFA from the CFA Institute, Actuarial Science from the Institute of Actuaries of India, and an Integrated Post Graduation from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management.
